Our family .....

We live north of Denver, Colorado and a short distance from the mountains.

We have always had a love for all animals. Now, our life is focused on our 5 Alaskan Malamutes and  an occasional litter.

We do not believe in back yard breeders, puppy mills, breeding for a business or puppies being sold in pet stores..

We believe in staying small so that each and every mal can be a part of the family day and night.

We support the humane society and all the great work they do. Many animals are bought as cute puppies and later taken to the shelters as unwanted pets. They are often neglected and abandoned and sometimes their owners just can't take care of them anymore. Many good animals are dropped off each day. All they need is someone to love them and care for them.
Please consider adopting from the shelters first. As a breeder,  We carefully screen each potential buyer. We want to make sure that none of the pups we produce end up in shelters or the streets. We will gladly take back any pup I produce. If we can not find that pup a new home, we will keep and care for the pup ourselves.

Please be careful when purchasing a puppy. Check around, think at least 10 times before making a choice. Shop around, look around and compare. Talk to people and please ask questions. Make sure you are not buying a puppy from a puppy mill.
What is a puppy mill? To me, a puppy mill is a place where a person or people breed a male and female for the purpose of producing litters. No kennel will admit to breeding for money. These dogs are not companions or pets. They live in kennels or cages only. Puppies are mass produced meaning they have several litters at a time or they constantly have a litter available year round. Look at their pictures. Do they provide several pictures or just one or two? Are the dogs in kennels? Are the dogs clean and groomed? Do their coats look healthy? Anyone can take a few minutes and hose down a kennel to make it look clean for a picture. Do they show interaction with the dogs outside the kennel? Are the dogs shown interacting with other dogs? Are their dogs living as family members? Are puppies born and raised in the home or in a kennel? These are just a few things to think about when looking for a puppy. This is, of course, my opinion. Other people may have different opinions and that is ok. The point is, be careful and be selective.
As far back as I can remember, I  have always had a passion for animals. As a child,  I always wanted  a dog but never had one.   I have owned a dog ever since the day I moved out. My passion has continued to grow ever since then.  In October 1999,  I was in a work related accident that has prevented me from returning to work. What a blessing.  I used to be a work-a-holic. The accident forced me to slow down.  It was hard to adjust to the new life at first, but now, my life is devoted to my malamutes.  There is nothing I enjoy more than to just be with them.
In addition to our malamutes being a part of our lives, we have many friends that also share in the same passion.  If you would like to visit their websites click on the "friends" below !
