Snow Pack's Midnight Promise

Promise is a beautiful standard Alaskan Malamute. (65 lbs, 24 in. )
Due to hip problems, she will not be used for breeding. She will not be hiking, weight pulling or backpacking.
Instead... Promise will be living a life as an indoor / out door companion. She has 4.6 acres high in the Rocky Mountains and a lot of ground squirrels to chase. She is a loving, loyal and very sweet girl. She is also our watch dog and alerts us to everything ! She does not like strangers.

Some people questions working young puppies and how it effects the growing hips. I believe that properly working young puppies helps hips to be strong. Unfortunately, Promise did not get that beginning. She was very thin and sick when we got her. Instead of training her, we focused on getting her healthy. As she grew and matured, we have noticed more problems. It is in her best interest, to just enjoy the simple life of living high !
Promise is a great baby sitter ! She loves the younger pups.
