Thanks, Christy and Bear

Thanks, Christy, Bear and Foxy !
More things to do It is best to start your malamute while still young. When starting a new activity like backpacking, start with light weights and slowly work up to more weight. Give their feet and muscles time to build up. Make sure equipment fits properly to prevent injury.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. If I don't have the answer, I will help find it.

Most malamutes love to play in the waterCasanova - Tonka's daddy
We miss you Casanova !

Nador's first time with a backpackBackpacks are inexpensive and it gives them a feeling of working or importance. Start by simply putting the back pack on until they get used to it. Slowly add weight each time you use the backpack.
More information coming soon !!Anytime you are in public or on a trail, please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after them. When passing other people on trails, please keep your dog close to you or stop and let them pass. Remember, not everyone is passionate about your dog as you are.
Check ahead if you are planning on taking your dog into a park or trail, not all trails allow dogs
Take only pictures and leave only footprints
